   Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest bauxite reserves in the world. According to data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Indonesia possesses approximately 3.29 billion tons of bauxite reserves, making it one of the world’s leading suppliers.

Bauxite reserves in Indonesia are spread across West Kalimantan (Sanggau, Ketapang, Sekadau, and other areas), Riau Islands, and North Sumatra. PT PEMBERESAN ASET BERSAMA, through its subsidiaries PT ADVOKASI RENCANA SUKSESINDO and PT TAMARA BUMI CEMERLANG, is initiating the downstream processing of bauxite, currently in the process of obtaining Mining Business Permits (Izin Usaha Pertambangan) and constructing a smelter.

Sustainability in Bauxite Mining and Smelter Management by PT ADVOKASI RENCANA SUKSESINDO PT Advokasi Rencana Suksesindo, in collaboration with the HKTI Tamara Bumi Indonesia Cooperative, has established PT Tamara Bumi Cemerlang to manage bauxite mining and smelter operations. Sustainability must be a priority throughout the entire operational chain. Sustainable mining encompasses four key aspects: sustainable development, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and economic sustainability. Each of these aspects plays a crucial role in ensuring that mining activities generate economic benefits while also benefiting local communities and maintaining environmental balance.

   Sustainable development in mining and smelter industries aims to balance natural resource exploitation with environmental protection and social welfare. PT ADVOKASI RENCANA SUKSESINDO must adopt responsible bauxite exploitation policies, ensuring that mining activities do not cause permanent ecosystem damage. The use of environmentally friendly technology and adherence to strict industry standards must guide all operational activities.To support sustainability, PT ADVOKASI RENCANA SUKSESINDO must prioritize resource efficiency, including energy, water, and raw materials. By implementing energy-efficient purification and production technologies and optimizing natural resource utilization, the company can minimize waste and emissions. Furthermore, transparency and good governance must be upheld to ensure compliance with regulations and stakeholder involvement in decision-making processes.

2. Environmental Sustainability
   The environmental impact of bauxite mining and smelting is a significant challenge in the industry. PT ADVOKASI RENCANA SUKSESINDO must develop clear environmental management strategies to mitigate negative effects. One key initiative is land reclamation and rehabilitation after mining operations conclude. The company must replant local vegetation to restore ecosystem balance and ensure that used land is rehabilitated.Industrial waste management should incorporate advanced technologies to prevent water and air pollution. Bauxite waste from washing and refining processes must be managed using dry stacking methods to minimize environmental contamination risks. Smelting operations must control carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and other hazardous gases through air filtration systems and low-emission technology.
